Este año se cumplen los 75 años de la creación de la Academia General del Aire (AGA) en la localidad murciana de San Javier. Numerosos actos se han realizado este año para conmemorar la efeméride, culminando con una gran exhibición aérea los días 8 y 9 de junio. Por la AGA han pasado todos los pilotos con los que ha contado el Ejército del Aire, ganando durante toda su vida una aureola de profesionalidad y excelencia y destacándose como una de las academias de enseñanza de aviación militar más importante del mundo.
